Estonian real estate companies expect prices to stabilize soon

Baltic CourseEstonian real estate companies are expecting real estate prices to stabilize and the number of transactions to increase, and are hoping to grow their revenue and workforce, results of a survey conducted by the Association of Real Estate Companies of Estonia show, cites LETA/BNS.

“According to the survey’s results, high price rise expectations are a thing of the past. In the next six months, real estate companies are expecting prices to stabilize and active trading to continue,” member of the association’s board Tonu Toompark said in a press release.

Real estate companies are expecting the number of transactions to increase in the dwelling as well as office space sectors in the next six months. The biggest increase is expected to take place in the number of rental space transactions. Entrepreneurs are also hoping to find new employees and increase revenue.

“The positive attitudes shown in previous surveys had come true and the real estate sector has been very active in every sector. Time will tell if the more modest forecasts will also come true,” Toompark said.

The Association of Real Estate Companies of Estonia conducts a survey twice a year.

The association has more than 50 members.
